May 16, 200422 yr Hi,For those of you who liked Rob Barendregt's Ground Handling Gauges Timothy Metzinger mentioned in his great tutorial for the 600/700 models, I have now modified their positions so they fit in the new radio panel that came with the 800/900 release (see attached screenshot in the bottom right corner marked by red rectangles). If anyone wants the modifications, just let me know. And as usual, always remember to first make a backup of your panel.cfg file before you do any changes to it if something goes wrong!
May 17, 200422 yr I'd love to have your mod for the p/b gauge. I miss it!! And, it'll save me from having to use trial and error for gauge placement...Thanks!Dave HartSWVA3326
May 17, 200422 yr Author Hello Dave,You can download my modification via this link:http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?DLID=48386Cheers,
May 17, 200422 yr Sounds great ....Now all I need is a PMDG 737NG to try it out :-) :-) :-)Cheers, Rob Barendregt
May 17, 200422 yr Author Hello there Mr. Author ;-)If you don't already have the PMDG a/c you shouldn't wait any longer! All the best and thanks for creating this great add-on!
May 17, 200422 yr Richard,Is the reason the other functions of the groundhandling gauges were not implemented is due to the PMDG AP and controls being custom and not default FS9 itemsThanksBob
May 18, 200422 yr Author Hi Bob,Yes, never got the controlled taxi speed to work when I installed the GH gauges the first time with the old 600/700 model. But on the other hand I didn't invest much time in it either since I kind of like controlling the taxi speed myself.Cheers,
May 18, 200422 yr The Taxi gage worked for me on the old 600/700 but I have not implemented it on the new panel yet. It should still work. Good job on the addition to the radio panel it looks very good. ________________________________________________________________________________ Jeremy 9800X3D OC'd -30 +200MHZ | 64GB CL30 RAM | RTX 5080 | Windows 11 23H2| Bravo Throttle | Alpha Yoke | CH Pedals | Logitech Radio Panel | SmoothTrack | AAO
May 18, 200422 yr Author Hi Jeremy and thanks. Yes, I don't doubt you can have the taxi gauges work as well if you just put some time into it.Cheers,
May 18, 200422 yr Thanks Richard, they do indeed look very good on the radio panel. Thanks again for your work.Bob
