Well, let's see here, we got the 737...which is fantastic! It looks like next will be the 747, which I'm sure will also be a treat. So what SHOULD come next? Well, numerically, the 757 of course! This is an airplane begging for the PMDG touch! Just look at the list of operators. It's the only aircraft operated by all of the big 6 (American, United, Delta, Northwest, Continental, and US Airways), not to mention dozens of other airlines around the world. I'm sure you guys have a full plate and I also know everyone on this forum can think of an airplane that needs to be done, but I'm just adding my two cents!Anyways, thanks for all your contributions to the FS community. The 737 continues to overcome its teething problems which are to be expected in any project with this sort of complexity, and this aircraft will be a real treat to fly for a very, very long time. Thanks to everyone at PMDG, and I'm looking to forward to seeing what's next of the assembly line!-j. luis kapost

Oh yeah? What makes you think that the PIC version (in testing now) will not include a 757 FDE along with the 767? The aircraft are pretty close, cockpit wise they are pretty right on so this leaves flight dynamics and exterior modelling. I believe it will fill that void if that is indeed the case eh? There are many great aircraft to choose from and PMDG will look at that when the time comes but certainly not anytime soon......[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Then PMDG should look at developing a 777 model. If there is any airplane that PMDG should create it is the 777. The systems are almost the same in the 777 as in the PMDG 737. Brian Ringel

Well I've seen no evidence that a PIC v2 is even in the works so I wouldn't mind if pmdg made one.

Trust me I have. What the final cut will contain I am not sure but PIC V2 is certainly Alpha phase as of 2 weeks ago, could be Beta already..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Geez, I guess you guys must be long-time MSFS users...PMDG _already_has_ the 777 and 757!But, of course, only on the Fly! and Fly! II platform!Just a little dig from an old-time Fly! enthusiast. :-)- Bill

yep 757 would be the one to do.the PIC V2 product has been stated to be a direct port to the FS9 platform with network gauge implementation. There are indications that there will be no VC. Also, since only one of the original team members has ever stated any dev post (and only one post) IMHO I believe that at this point there is only a single development team member working on it. With that said, no one from development 'team' has ever stated, hinted, or implied in any way, shape or form that the 757 was even thought about. It has been said before, this is the plane for PMDG. Most majors use them and they are still heavily utilized in the airline fleet.

CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB
MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro |  GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

767 PIC was a fantastic product, I just get the feeling if we do see a v2, it will still be just for the 767. I know the panel is essentially the same, hence the common type rating, but what I'm afraid would happen is they'll be content to merely offer a merge file for the freeware 757s out there. PMDG offers a fantastic product for many more reasons than just the panel. With a PMDG product your going to get a high-quality exterior model too. Not to mention a VC, Virtual Cabin, sound package, and the assorted other utilities. (None of which are offered on any freeware 757s I'm aware of with the exception of a sound package) I'm just saying it'd be nice to see a "total package" for this aircraft. PMDG could also do something similiar to what the did for the 737.Release say the 757-200, 757-300...And then an add-on with the 767-200, 767-300...It's just a thought, I'd like to see a PIC V2 for FS2004 and I hope those rumors are true, but I skeptical the 757 would get any attention as it did'nt the first time around. That being said, it'll be interesting to see what they have in store.regards,-j luis kapost
