Suggestion: Pause Sim at TOD

Featured Replies

Hi PMDG:Thanks for such a wonderful product! Any chance you guys could include a "pause at top of decent" or "pause X miles from destination" feature? I know some of you may argue that it's not realistic, but some of us get interrupted during flights (kids, spouse, work, etc...).Thanks again!Fabio

I am currently working on a .dll module that will simulate me actually starting FS9, flight planning, initiating the flight, terminating FS9 and actually powering down the PC - all automatically.I am in the last stages of this and am trying to iron out how to actually powerup the pc at a selected time.So far I have had great success. Just today my pc auto reported to me via email that it completed a 3.2 hour flight while I was at work for 8 hours. As you can see this was fantastic for me since I did not even need to be there, I am able to get all my simming in while I am at work.Nirvana acheived.

Radar Contact has a "Pause at Distance" feature that causes the sim to pause automatically at any desired distance from the destination airport.Hope this helps,Sandy

Just because you cannot spend 8 hours behind your computer doesn't mean you should be unable to do longhaul flights. Include the option and use it at your own discretion is my motto!
