on the 737/800 900 how does one access the radio and FMC from the VC?

Hi,Not sure what your problem is, but to move in the VC, simply use the mouse to look around and the keypad numbers to move in different directions.

i know thatbut how do i enter the flight route in the FMC by just in VC mode?or the ILS freq for runways in VC mode? i want to bring up the FMC on my second monitor and the radio panel, is there a button like the buttons you can press MFOL etc etc in 2D mode?

Clayton,I don't think you can access only the FMC in a single fashion in the VC the same way you can in the 2D panel.When it comes to entering a route, I haven't tried that in VC myself but what I DO have tried is to use the FMC from the VC when already en-route and that went just fine - all the buttons/functions seemed to work the same way as in 2D panel.Maybe someone else in here has more experience entering routes when in VC?
