July 11, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hello Marcello,First, you need to have the PMDG 737NG 800/900 Upgrade installed. Then you need to activate the lower EICAS in the styles menuThen you need to click on SYS or ENG buttons.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
July 15, 200421 yr "BTW.. In a Boeing it is called the Lower Dispaly Unit... EICAS?.. isn't that a funny French word?"Lots of different names for the same thing.I've also heard these 737NG displays called Center Upper/Lower DU's.EICAS (in general) refers to the Engine Indicating and Crew Alerting System on 767's and 747-400's, but the CRT's can still be called Upper and Lower DU's (as well as upper and lower EICAS). ECAM = Airbus (I think)Cheers.Ian
July 15, 200421 yr Jus to add to the confusion,Some knowledgeable people even call the center DUs for EIS = Engine Information SystemHave seen that on www.b737.org.uk for one.Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
