Problem disarmed automatic AutopilotBoys I have to problem

Hey Filippo,Long time no see! :-)Tell us about your set-up. How is your airplane configured when this happens? Are you flying in one or dyual channel mode? Is the autopilot ALWAYS disengaging? And is it ALWAYS disengaging at the same distance/height from the runway?Cheers,

How do you mean disengage? Does it actually come off CMD or CWS or does it level off?Nick B.Continental Airlines 737NG Pilothttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg--AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ 2.2 Ghz (Equal to 2.8 ghz)400W Power supply3x 80 mm Case FansSoyo VIA KT600 Dragon PlusnVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 mb2 x 512 PC400100 GB Western DigitalMicrosoft Sidewinder Precision 2

The problem happens in short final

It's not disconnecting that's only the G/S kickin in and this will blank the APP button and that's exactly the way it's suppose to work. Look at your FMA on the PFD for CMD, if you arm the second A/P prior to G/S it will have a yellow SINGLE CH then at 1500 RA goes CMD.. At least I believe this is what you are talking about. The other other issue could be that you are touching your controls with the A/P engaged? This will cause the AFDS to revert to active CWS IF above a certain level, not sure at the moment of the altitude...Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. Are you using AS2004 with wake turbulence turned on by any chance? This has caused me a few upsets and the autopilot to give up and cancel itself on finals.John

Yes

Same here,I use AS2004 and have wake turbulence enabled. If a plane has landed just before you do, the AP will disconnect itself.Last night after take-off I got close to a Boeing 757 during climb and it also happened.
