Weather radar

Featured Replies

Would i be right in saying this aircraft doesnt have a weather radar ?

No weather Radar in PMDG, but a great add on is Active Sky which gives you great weather effects and radar as well.

PMDG have stated that only one company (reality xp?) has come close to replicating correct weather data (correct position) on a gauge and I do not believe AS is one of them. There is a difference between actual position and very simplified weather data position displayed. As a side note I believe PICv2 will have this, a little disapointed that we will not see this even if it is like AS's or appearently others coming out but I cannot have everything ;-(Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. FWIW, I don't think PICv2 will have weather radar either. I commented on seeing what I thought were weather returns on the ESHI in the video, in the 767 PIC forum but Gary Hayes replied such was not the case.So this will remain an elusive feature for now.Best,Martijn

Ya Martijn, I tought those were weather returns as well.Did he say it would not be implemented?David

No Wx Radar in PMDG, but if you want to spend some $$, the reality xp wx radar is awesome...

Thanks Martijn, I saw but he didn't say it would not have it. His answer was a little evasive in my opinion, I guess we sould just wait and see. Thanks again Martijn,Dave
