PANEL NOT LOOKING SO GOOD

Featured Replies

Please take a look at the attached file(s)....the pictures show that the main panal looks smaller than it should be and the MCP slectors in particular (the readouts in orange) look messed up.....zero's and 8's look like blocks!!! Panel looks so small that you can barely make out the letters and numbers on the EFIS Control Panel. Any suggestions?Rgds,Brandon Glass

I too had this problem. I updated to the latest Omega Radeon drivers and all is well. Have you tried changing screen resolution? That may help.Blue skiesKevin

What is your screen resolution?

My desktop resolution is 800x600 pixels. Thanks,Brandon Glass

Brandon,Do you have the possibility to run 1024x768? I think that would look better. What's the size of your monitor, and what type do you have?Cheers,

I noticed you're running the older version of the 737. The warning lights on the left of the panel are not from the updated 737 panel.Update!!Goran

It's not the older panel that is the problem, I know because I worked that MCP background area in that version and running 800x600 causes the DIGITS to appear that way. You must run it at 1024x768 minimum to get the digits to appear correctly.Best Wishes,
Randy J. Smith
http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/Animation1.gifCaution! Randy,I tried what you said and switched the resolution from 800x600 pixels to 1024x768 and the panel seems to now being working properly, thanks!!! But really, I'm not used to such a resolution. It makes everything els besides simulator really small and my eyes can hardly take it!! But I guess I will have to change resolutions whenever I want to fly PMDG.Rgds and thanks,Brandon Glass

Yeah that can be an issue but if you get a BIGGER monitor it helps out greatly. Plus did you notice how much nicer the scenery looks at that res? Even higher looks smoother ;-)Best Wishes,
Randy J. Smith
http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/Animation1.gifCaution!
