AIBridge

Featured Replies

Gentlemen,I am about to try my first online flight on Vatsim. I am wondering if AIBridge is necessary to see traffic in the onboard TCAS, not the Squawkbox TCAS, or not. Now I have it set to use FSUIPC in the dropdown menu. Thanks Steve

Steve - You should try the FS204 internal option. It works a charm in online mode as well and you don't need to run AIBridge for that. One less program to run! ;-)Hope it helps,

Thanks George,I saw this in the manual -- AUTOMATIC FLIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS 9 - 17--That is why I asked. The picture shows FSUIPC selected. I cannot select the FS2004 option for some reason. It is greyed out on the 700,800 and 900. Do you know why this may be so? I am sure I have missed something somewhere. Thanks

It's greyed out because somehow, FSUIPC is reporting back to us saying that you're not running FS2004.Check your registry settings that you haven't somehow copied over FS2004 from a different folder or forgot to install it properly. If that doesn't help, send email to our support@ hotline.Registry settings to look for:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator9.0In there, you should find:"EXE Path" pointing to the proper folder that you've installed FS2004 in, and also"Version" saying at least 9.0 (for FS2004).Also- I remember vaguely that there are some utilities(?) that make FS2004 behave in "FS2002 compatibility mode" - which makes FSUIPC report back that you're running FS2002. Make sure this is not the case.

Mr. Kalamaras,Thanks for the help. I did your suggested checks and everthing appears to me to be OK. I also do not have a utility like you suggest. I have written PMDG support per your suggestion.Again, thanks.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/99411.jpg

Gentlemen,Problem solved. FSUIPC had a "makeitversion" line in it.Thanks for the help

Steve,I had the same problem and I found the same solution. That is installed for the DF737 Merge. Make sure you add it back in before trying to run DF737. I have found I never do anymore so it is permenately gone. :)
