December 14, 200421 yr Hi guys,I followed the golden path and purchased the 800/900 addon. What can I say. EXCELLENT:-) It's even updated the 600/700.One question though if I may. Reading through the manual indicates that TCAS can be tested when you move the switch to test mode.I've tried moving the switch to the "test" position but it won't get that far. It will only go as far as the 'Stby'position.Any advise on this? I was in the 737-700 aircraft when attempting to check it.
December 15, 200421 yr >Just a wild guess but do you check your FSUIPC version?I have the latest FSUIPC version unless when I installed the 800/900 it may have installed an earlier version.
December 15, 200421 yr Commercial Member You might want to be on the ground when testing TCAS... (just a wild guess ;-)) Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
December 15, 200421 yr Also, the knob doesn't stay on test it simply clicks and goes right back to Stby. During this time the PFD/ND or EFIS/MAP will indicate TCAS visuals. It takes a couple seconds to cycle, then says TCAS TEST OK. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
