I was wondering about the accuracy of the takeoff trim settings recommended via the FMC. I tried to do it by the book, but found that at Vr the plane would not lift off, suggesting that the trim I set wasn't the correct one.any suggestions? something I overlooked?ricardo

Ricardo, I use 5.2 all the time and it lifts off right on the money. I am not sure if the trim settings in the FMC have been modeled.Bob

Bob, I think you're absolutely right: 5.2 is right on the money, independent it seems of your TOW or COG. Seems weird. If you select any other value, the plane won't rotate at Vr.ricardo
