Is there anyway to use my keyboard to type in the FMC instead of pushing the buttons?Thanks,Matt

Hit the black strip on either side of the FMC. (I think it's the left side, I'm no where near FS right now)

Yes, click the black strip on the right side of the CDU. Not sure if the left side works as well. You'll get an indication of [KBD] in the lower right of the CDU screen if you've done it correctly. Then you can type with the keyboard. Only the numbers above the alpha keys work though. I can't the the numpad to work.Don't forget to set it back to normal when done because it intercepts your key strokes and other commands won't work until you turn it off.

When you close the FMC window, the keyboard shortcut gets turned off.Frank
