dave_paige's post in NGX P3D FMC stuck on was marked as the answerIn the introduction manual on page 0.00.43 it does mention that you should be able to press and hold the "menu" button to turn on the CDU to access the FMS menus. It also says that you can turn it off the same way, by pressing and holding the "menu" button. But, in my experience turning it off this way has never worked, and still doesn't in SP1d.
For my CLDDRK panel state what I did was open the (panelstate).sav file in a text editor, search for the word "virtual", There is a line "VirtualMenuPower=1" (I think). Change the 1 to a 0 and when you load that state the CDU will be dark.

dave_paige's post in Master Caution Fuel Light on was marked as the answerHi Michael,
Suggest a read through the forums before posted as this is all over the forums already. It's an issue with the included panel states. Delete the included panel state files, then reload the NGX. It will load with the default panel state, engines running. Shut it down and save your own, new, panel states for short turn, long turn, and cold and dark. With your new panel states you will no longer have that problem.

dave_paige's post in NGX SP1d 737-700 tail strobe was marked as the answerWell I sure wish I could figure it out then. It's only the 737-700 winget variant. I've checked all the others on my system and the tail strobe effect is in the correct position.

Ok as usual PMDG support is the best. They found a model that didn't get updated. It's been fixed, just need to redownload and reinstall.

dave_paige's post in HGS combiner was marked as the answerYes I'm only referring to the Introduction and the two tutorials when I say you should read/do them. The rest should be considered more for reference, to be used when needed.

dave_paige's post in 737 doesn't update AIRAC's was marked as the answerI'll check when I get home but I don't think that path is correct. I think it should be "\\Flight Simulator 9\FMCWP\" and "\\Flight Simulator 9\PMDG\SIDSTARS\". The second one is for just the terminal procedures, SIDs, STARs, and APs. The first is for waypoints, navaids, airports, and airways.
