July 1, 200520 yr Hi,This is an interesting related issue.In Phoenix lately we are having a warm spell, 112 degrees F.I listen to live ATC from Phoenix and noticed that with the heat in the afternoon some pilots will only accept runway 26. There are three runways at KPHX and 08/26 is the longest. Temperature is one of the factors in takeoff and landing.

July 4, 200520 yr www.tomaflex.net Wow, where has that been. Must have missed it somehow. That's on my must have list. I'm sure they will add the 747 down the road (wouldn't mind them adding the LevelD, also). Not a bad price either, compared to what we've become used to seeing. Fitz
