July 31, 200520 yr There is a good Kai Tak scenery in the file library done by Thomas Kwong who has also done the Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok scenery for FS9. Initially the scenery was built for FS2000 but it still works in FS9, although not flawlessly, but in my humble opinion the perfect solution without having to pay but still getting the checkerboard and everything else which makes for a fantastic approach into Kai Tak.Look for kaitak.zip in the AVSIM file library and install it as described in the readme.Attention: When you are flying around Kai Tak you better stay in one of the cockpit views, because sometimes flying with the outside view might lead to a collision. Use the replay function to watch you landing! :)Finally, make sure to check this link, if you are looking for charts for the fmaous IGS 13 approach! ;) http://www.vatroc.org/english/charts/vhhh/VHXX.pdfHave fun!Cheers,Christianhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/chrismo/sigsky.jpgVacation: wasted time between 2 flights!
