Question: Packs off for engine start

In the VS744 DVD the checklist calls for packs 2 and 3 to be off.Any particular reason why 2 and 3 as opposed to 1 and 2 or 1 and 3?Do other airlines have other practices in respect to this?

Maybe they switch on even/odd days?No clue, just throwing something out there. Good question though.

There is totaly no reason for this. Some Airlines switch of 2&3, some switch of 1&3 while some others maybe 1&2

My airline says screw PAX. no AC for them on engine start. they can last 2 min. So i call PACK 1+2+3. I like to have all the air i can get. I also know there is a reason why you need a lot of air to prevent a hot start or something.
