November 25, 200520 yr HiDuring cruise I simulated a Hydraulic leak in system 2. After a few seconds, the amber message
November 25, 200520 yr Nick,I guess you're right. Looking at the schematics I would say that the right autopilot should go off.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/134023.gifCheersThomas
November 25, 200520 yr Thanks Thomas for that Schematicso, the QRH is correct, but the simulation is wrong. How is this passed to the developers?Nick
November 25, 200520 yr >How is this passed to the developers?>Nick,'Big Brother' is watching you.;-) I'm sure that they will see this thread and comment on it.CheersThomas
November 25, 200520 yr I retried this failure this time with the HYD PRESS SYS 3, at this time, AP "R" was unservicable, according the QRH and your schematic, it should be AP "L".If SYS 1 fails, AP "C" is disconecting, which is correct.
November 25, 200520 yr Maybe this relates:http://pmdg.forumsplace.com/message-393.ht...light=autopilot Regards Howard H D Isaacs
November 25, 200520 yr Also with the HYD SYS 1 failed the nose gear steering still works. For example applying rudder nice and smoothly to max deflection (left or right) the aircraft responds normally upto max deflection.
November 25, 200520 yr Hi A32XThis is not correct, the Upper Rudder is also feeded by SYS 3, and the Lower Rudder is completely independent of the SYS 1 (feeded by SYS 2+3)
November 25, 200520 yr Gents,Lower rudder should stop working with HYD SYS 2 and 4 INOP. Upper rudder should stop with HYD SYS 1 and 3 INOP. That's how I read Nick's schematic and that is how the sim was modelled lat I checked. As far as nose wheel steering is concerned I have INOP steering (both nose and main) with HYD SYS 1 INOP. Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|

November 26, 200520 yr >Thomas>>what's your profession? I think I know your name ;-)I'm in the IT business. Maybe you know my name because of my uploads in the AVSIM library.CheersThomas
