Yep, that's one of the problems that appeared to not be a problem but rather a feature ;-)But there are also a couple of other sound issues, one of them is the packs making noice even when the a/c is "cold & dark" and there are a couple of other issues as well...all of them mentioned or linked to higher up in this thread.
