December 10, 200520 yr One of the guys in the alt.games.microsoft.flight-sim newsgroup posted this link recently.http://worteldrie.com/flash/emergency.swf Having read the PMDG forums for some time I wonder how many of you can relate to this?
December 10, 200520 yr It probably is. This is the third time at least this link has been posted here!Best,Martijn
December 10, 200520 yr I'm actually worse than that. One day I dialed the kitchen number on our house interphone system and the maid answered. I told her that she should probably stop serving drinks for the meanwhile and that I was turning on the fasten seatbelt signs because the flight was getting rather bumpy. She really didn't understand what I was talking about.:(Best Regards,Victor Limahttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg Cheers,Victor M. Lima
December 11, 200520 yr You made my day. More than once in real I've requested a clearance from the company, and told ATC to fasten their seat belts.louross.
December 11, 200520 yr I've lost count of how many times I've contacted the wrong ATC frquency in real life... but thankfully I never modulated on a crowded intl' airport frequency telling my passengers the outside temp and thanking them for flying xx airlines. Then again, since I fly a GA single-engines I don;t have that many pax (let alone an interphone system_ Here in Brazil there are some funny stories of pilots making a pax briefing on the twr freq.Best Regards,Victor Limahttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg Cheers,Victor M. December 11, 200520 yr Heard a guy, one time, do his entire "Welcome aboard" speech . . . on 121.90. Several of his 'pals' at the other gates chimed asking for extra pillows, a coffee refill, a shot of Jack. Other than the serious part, it's all great fun.
December 11, 200520 yr Trully incredible - I nearly wet myselfMy wife thought it was so true - guess that is me. lol
