July 19, 200223 yr Was just flying the Bell 206B helo. What's the GPS/NAV switch for on the panel? There is no autopilot for the helo that I can see. Is there a way to use it? If so, how? thanks, Bob.
July 19, 200223 yr No autopilot in helos right now - you'll just have to stick the thing around yourself 8^) .You should head over to the Rotorheads forum for more info.cheers,Dave BlevinsKRHV System: Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 mobo *** i7 2700K @ 5gHz w/ Corsair H80 cooler NVidia GTX 570 OC *** 8 GB 1600 Corsair Vengeance DRAM *** CoolerMaster HAF X case System overclocked and tuned for FSX by fs-gs.com Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog stick/throttle & CH Products Pro Pedals Various GoFlight panels *** PFC avionics stack
July 19, 200223 yr Author I can't speak for the helicopter as I haven't tried it-but the Nav/gps switch merely changes the input device to the hsi or whatever instrument you are using-the autopilot is not involved. E.g. the deviation shown on the hsi needle will instead of being the vor (whether left or right of course) will be the gps (whether left or right of course).Hope that answers it..http://members.telocity.com/~geof43/Geofdog2.gif Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
