December 30, 200520 yr Hi,One quick question, having never sat in a 747-400 cockpit I wondered which is the best eye point to use. Comparing shots below which would a real 747 pilot see?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/137155.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/137156.jpgIf the first shot, does the pilot need to physically move his head to see the PFD?Regards,Paul
December 30, 200520 yr Commercial Member Paul,If you have Active Camera, go download the files for the plane at the AC site - they were made by one of our real-pilot testers and the "RL" view set is as close as he could get it to what he sees in the real thing. December 30, 200520 yr I am guessing the yoke is not adjustable in RL so its more "realistic" to leave it as is (in the up position?)Thanks,Paul
December 30, 200520 yr Commercial Member No, it is not realistic in "real life", but neither is having your head welded in a single position ;-)Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
