January 3, 200620 yr I've looked thru the manual and searched the board but I don't see any reference to this. I was doing a long haul YSSY to KLAX, with 1000lbs left in the center tank I switched the pump off. I noticed that even with the center tank pump switched off it continued to drain. Is the center tank gravity drained, or is this an FS limitation? Thanks in advance!!
January 3, 200620 yr Hello, nameless. You must sign your real name at the end of your posts in compliance with the Forum Regulations, which is pinned to the top of the main PMDG support page.I believe the residual negligable fuel transfer from the CTR tanks to the left main, is normal. I may stand to be corrected, however.Tom Tom James
January 3, 200620 yr That's correct. The scavage pump transfers the remaining fuel into Main #2.In the 747-200 there was a switch you had to turn on to grab the last few drops of fuel with the scavage pump. With the 400, the logic is built in so there's no more need for a manual switch.
