Hello all.I recently installed the 747-400F. Great product, but I am wondering about the new sound files. From the cockpit everything sounds great, but outside it sounds almost exactly the same as it does in the cockpit, and much quieter than it used to. I have checked all of my sound settings, and this is not the problem. Am I somehow missing some external sound files? Does anyone else have this problem?Thanks for any help.David

to fix some problems with the soundset, they have taken out the exterior sounds for now.

We didn't "take out" the exterior sounds lol, two of the engines were disabled to decrease load on the sound system. This had to do with the crackling issue people were reporting. We hope to have a fix for this permanently in the F's service update.

I love the new sound set myself... :-beerchug I try to stay away from flying the aircraft from the outside but like other are reporting it does need a fix. The interior sounds are perfect though... :-)

I thought there were no exterior sound settings in the sound.cfg file?
