I already have the PMDG 737NG 600/700 and would like to upgrade to the 747-400. Do I need the 737NG-800/900 installed before I can purchase the 747-400?I purchased the original CD of the 737NG 600/700 from Aerosoft.Thanks,sunbear

No you don't not need the 800/900 installed to use the 747. They are completely different products.Hope you enjoy the 744 when you purchase it.

I don't have the 737 product only the 747-400, and I really enjoy it.I believe there are some installation rules you have to follow if you are installing both products, see comments in this forum. Have fun!!Ron

word of caution: if you want to upgrade to the 800/900, you will have to uninstall the 744 and the 700/800 and start over again. which is a pain in the a*$e. the 800/900 is an upgrade from the 700/800 where the TCAS is ops, among other enhancements.here is the preferred download order:737738/9744p744f
