While attempting to install new repaints, I get an access denied message. I have checked my permissions and can;t see any particular reason. Newly purchased payware seems to install OK. Any help appreciated Cheers Ron

I've just purchased a new desktop model Dell XPS Gaming PC (Intel Core I7-6700K/2TB HDD/24GBNvidia GTX 750 Windows 10 I was using an Asus G55V note book and it is faster than the new one although I use game booster. I currently have only loaded the basic FSX on the new machine. Are there any mods I should make on FSX software to make it faster? Any suggestions appreciated. Regards Ron

Solved, the trick is to disconnect from the internet, and then when you ask for activation , reconnect, weird but it worked Ron

I'm having trouble getting the activation to connect on the above software. I turned off the anti-virus protection but still does not work. I seem to remember that some temp files caused a problem on other downloads. Any ideas? Ron

Now that Internet Explorer is supposed to be obsolete. What is the recommended replacement? How do we prevent malicious intruders from messing with our setup. I do have Panda security,but still get interference from pop ups Ron

After repeated attempts to install Ver 1.014 , I keep getting an unable to connect to server error. All my purchases are download versions. I have contacted both Just Flight and Majestic, but have yet to resolve the problem. Any ideas? Ron

I am running out of space on my Asus G55V notebook , currently 750GB and I'm considering getting a Samsung ST2000LM003 2TB as a replacement. I don't know about the compatibility and cloning kit requirements. Any advice appreciated. Ron

There are serious problems causing ctd with addon manager. Many addons got clobbered and could not be restored until addon manager was uninstalled. I understand that some of the problems were due to windows 8.1 updates, but it seems that fixing this is a tedious process. Has anyone come up with a step by step procedure to remedy this? Ron

For some reason, my LAN settings now want a proxy server and won't connect to the internet. I can fix this by resetting from Internet tools, however it keeps reverting back to a proxy server as the mood takes it. Any permanent fix for this? Ron

Thanks Kyle, I have now been able to install the 747-8. I still have a problem with the aircraft bouncing severely on the ground. I seem to remember this problem existed before, and there was a patch issued to correct it. Do you know if this patch is still available? Ron
