  1. How the heck do I get the VC panel to display. Ron
  2. I recently reinstalled FSX, and the FSX bgl file is dated for 2006 which is probably the original issue from FSX . I maxed out the traffic for FSX Australia and did hear a Quantas flight IFR request but did not see the aircaft. I,m using windows 8.1 .I also have some FSDT and Flight beam and GSX, Any ideas. Ron
  3. All my AI traffic is gone, even the ORBX Australian AI although I enabled it in the ORBX control panel. the bgl file is still disabled .Any ideas? Ron
  4. Thanks very much Ryan . I never new this existed. Ron
  5. I know there are some legit offset approaches due to terrain ., Innsbruck Austria comes to mind , and I'm sure there are many more due to terrain issues . The one I have a problem with is mainly Mountain Homee AFB which is on a plateau , but the localiser lines up parallel to the runway on essentially flat terrain . I know there were some errors in the original FSX and I guess I'll need to check if MS or fellow simmers made fixes . I'm going to make blow ups of ORBX PNW and ajoining areas coverage to explore in my Aerosoft Twin Otter extended. Thanks for the replies everyone. Ron
  6. I did some flights recently to Twin Falls Idaho, Mountain Home Idaho and Comox BC. I noticed that the localiser OK at Twin Falls, but did not line up at Mountain Home or Comox. I was using ORBX scenery , but the same thing happens with FSX default scenery. Was ther a fix for this? Ron
  7. Glad to hear you are working on service packs . Look forward to installing them down the road. Ron
  8. Well at $8.00 ,I got the L1011 and it is certainly worth more than that . Many people who have the CS model have done a merge as the CS model has better externals, but as yet have not released the panel. Don't know if JF are planning any updates for the Tristar yet
  9. Well I took the plunge and upgraded to Win 8.1 and so far good news , no JS disconnects or OOM errors, Knock on wood. Ron
  10. The compatibility of FSX did not come up in the test. Ron

  13. I guess some of them need a colonoscopy eh? Ron
  14. Thanks Red 29, I found this by myself by experimenting , I think the folder designation is not intuitive, as I don't have the PMDG 737NGX, however. it works and I continue to learn this planner. Ron
  15. I just purchased pfpx and so far I'm enjoying it. I have'nt been able to export a route to the PMDG 777. Any ideas? Ron
  16. Since I am having continous problems with joystick disconnects on windows 8, I would like to know if I can install Windows 7 and have a dual boot system. I have installed Fsuipc and have also modified the USB power options to no avail. Any help appreciated. Ron
  17. Good point, I was wondering about the costs of that subscription service too. Ron
  18. I appreciate all the replies thus far, but I was also looking for a comparison of features and value for money. I believe FS commander is still slightly cheaper. If PFPX has a further discount on Tuesday, they could be close to the same price. Ron
  19. I guess I'm not supposed to post sales ,but check the various s ites. I got an email from a major source. Anyway, any opinions. Ron
  20. I see PFPX is on sale for $38.47, What opinions are out there comparing it value and operation wise to FS commander at $33.53 ? Ron
  21. Thanks for the info Dave, I'll try that one when I have time. Ron
