May 17, 200719 yr No RWY's means you need the sidstar file for SBSV. You can download one at http://navdata.at/ although it is almost two years old you at least have the use of the location. You need both airac and sidstar data. Dan Downs KCRP
May 17, 200719 yr Author Hi Danthanks for your answer.Sometimes you have nor SID/STARS available either AIRAC for an airport, so I input on the FMC LEGS page navigation points like PBD (place bearing distance)or Along Track Waypoints, therefore the aircraft will find the way down to the airport (in LNAV mode), so I have to assume: we can't input only a RWY on the LEGS page?Enjoy your B737NG flights, Peer Paul Burch
May 17, 200719 yr You assume correctly. When you give the FMC a destination or origin it uses airac and sidstar data. If you are missing either then the FMC cannot be programmed with a route to or from there. However, you can find many sidstars at Richard Stefan's site outside of the US/UK and if you are so inclined, you can learn in a few minutes how to add anyplace to the data files so such that you have runways.
