B747-400 Engine start

Featured Replies

Earlier today I was setting up for a flight from Dubai to Gatwick, however on push back I couldn't get the no. 3 engine to start. I'm almost sure I had everything set up correctly (the other engines were fine)After returning to the gate and getting the mechanics over they sorted it (upon an FS restart) and I could get under way :-lolCan anyone shed any light on what may have been the problem?Cheers

Just a wild guess... Check your #3 Fire Handle next time.If you have a problem, sometimes a screenshot is worth a thousand words :)Cheers.Q>

Was this an autostart or manual start and what was the engine type?

Cheers guys, thinking back to the pre-flight, i think i accidently touched the no. 3 fire handle. There were no eicas memos so didn't think it had done anything. It was also an auto-start :-)
