744X Flaps Speed

Featured Replies

I've been using the 744X since it came out and after several reinstalls of FSX and the 744 I think I finally have it going right. One thing thatbothers me is the long time required to go from flaps 0 to flaps 10. It doesn't take nearly that long on the 737 NG in FS9 or the PSS 777, or on real airliners. Is it just me or is this typical. Thanx.Art Stuart

Dear Art,This is modeled correct; it is exactly as it happens in the real airplane (to the second).

Thanx for the help. I guess I'm just too impatient.Art Stuart

>Listen to this man, he has more hours in the real plane than>many of us do on this earth... :)There was this infamous B-52 pilot who caused this 1994 B-52 crash in Fairchild AFB. His name was Arthur "Bud" Holland. His B-52 exploits were well known and he was getting way with it because of his reputation as an 'ace' B-52 pilot. They used to say "he has got more hours in B-52 than you sleeping". ;)Michael J.http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/9320/apollo17vf7.jpg
