Definitely need an excellent PMDG 727 for FSX. Art Stuart

I know this is not new, but last week I reinstalled my OS (win7) and fsx on new hard drives, but when I reinstalled the NGX, I have had nothing but problems. During the install process it did not ask me for the activation code, but instead asked for it after all the installs (service packs, the 6/700 etc), when I brought the NGXup in the free flight box. Is this correct, it seems like the other PMDG planes asked for the activation code in the install process. I get blue screens, sometimes the battery will not activate after setting C&D. Am I doing something wrong. Thanx Art Stuart KABQ

Lately I have noticed that when I run a saved flight in the NGX, the magenta line is missing from the PDF. This does not happen all the time, just sometimes. Also, the CDU does not have a display until i click on it to bring it up to 2D. Anmyone else with this problem? Otherwise, this is a great airplane. Art StuartKABQ

I know this is an old topic, but I searched for the old thread and couldn't find it, but I recall it never answered my problem.When I try to enter the to/from on line LSK1R(xxxx/xxxx) on the F-PLAN INIT page, nothing happens except my computer locks up completely. I have to do a manual restart to get it to run again. I have no problem entering a CO route on LSK1L. Suggestions!!Art StuartKABQ

I have only tried it with American/American and American/Canadian combinations. I haven't tried it with any European or any other combinations.Art StuartKABQ

I have been having this problem too. When I enter the departure/arrival airports the entire computer freezes. Sometimes ctrl-alt-delete works but usually I have to shut down or restart manually. This is the FSX MD-11 with service pack 1 installed. It was doing it before the service pack was installed. I did a uninstall/reinstall of the MD-11 but it still doesn't work properly. I did not have this problem until the past couple of weeks. I have no problem when entering the Co Route. I am using 32 bit XP. I do not have the FS9 version.Otherwise the MD-11 is great, as are all of my other PMDG planes. But this is frustrating.I could find only one other thread on this topic and it was for the FS9 version.Art StuartKABQ

My vote (?) is still for the CRJ-700. Only PMDG could do it justice.Art StuartKABQ

Thanks to PMDG and everybody elso that helped with this problem!!I had the skewed ND and very off center landings (approx 500 feet right at KABQ, KAPA, KPHX, but for some reason only about 5 feet left of center at EGLL). Added the back slash in the register as suggested and both problems went away completely. Thanks again, I thought I had lost the 744X for good.Art StuartKABQ:-)

When I start the 744x with cold and dark and turn on the battery only the left ground power light comes on, and it is operative. If I click the right one nothing happens. They both come on in the freighter version. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times but the result is always the same. Can this be corrected?Art StuartKABQ
