Just reinstalled all my pmdg products again after a problem with my pc.I am using fs9.I finally reinstalled the 747 freighter with the latest update. However, I read in a post previously that there should be 3 different airfiles in the cargo version to simulate the 3 different engine variants. When I go to the cargo version folder all I see is one airfile relating to the GE engines. Is this correct or should there be 3 different airfiles.Regards,Dimitri

FSX variant has separate air files but I think the FS9 version does only have one. Read that somewhere, sometime... can't seem to recall exactly. Oh well.

Thanks Dan.So if this is the case how can the 3 different engine variants in the freighter be accurately simulated with a GE airfile?Could someone from the development team confirm this about the fs9 version.Regards,Dimitri.

Dimitri,The Cargo version of the FS9 744 has separate engine variants.Hope it helps,

Mats, thanks for replying, but I still only see one airfile pertaining to the GE engines in my fs9 cargo version folder. Is this correct?Regards,Dimitri

Dimitri,I have one air file. If it is solely used by GE engines I do not know. I do know that all engine variants have their own displays and characteristics.Hope it helps,

Mats thanks for your prompt reply.I do get the proper engine displays on the panel like epr when I use rr model, and pw model.I just thought that I should have 3 different airfiles in the folder for each variant.kind regards, dimitri
