December 28, 200718 yr ok guysis the fsx 747 the same as the older version fs9 in so much that that you have to directly input the way points manualy instead of importing from fsx ? as other simulations can.thanks in advanceDave:)
December 28, 200718 yr I think you are asking if the default MS default route planner can be used to build a flight plan in the PMDG aircraft... no. Thank goodness, this is not a very good planner. The other part of your question is do you need to enter manually... no, many use FSBuild which exports both MS and PMDG format files for use with the PMDG aircraft and add-ons such as AS6/ASX that use MS format. Otherwise, you do need to enter the flight plan.Personally, I find the FMC easier to program than building a route in the MS default planner when entering real world routes. The FSX route planner is a littler easier to use than the FS9 planner, but there's still a lot of stuff missing such as current navdata (it is a snapshot of navdata that was old when FSX was released) and SIDs/STARs. December 28, 200718 yr Hi Dave! You may also find that a Virtual Airline, if you join one, will supply routes for their aircraft.Cheers, R Cheers, Richard Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.2 GHz, 16 GB memory, 1 TB SSD, GTX 1080 Ti, 28" 4K display Win10-64, P3Dv5, PMDG 748 & 777, Milviz KA350i, ASP3D, vPilot, Navigraph, PFPX, ChasePlane, Orbx
