Question about the warning Fuel Tank Eng

Featured Replies

Making a flight, it has appeared in the superior EICAS the following warning FUEL TANK ENG 14. When I am going to conduct the operations to correct this alarm, I observe that the corresponding switches in the Overhead Panel are not operative . How I can correct these anomalies? Another question: Will be compatible the MCP of Aerosoft Australia with B744 for FSX? Greetings and thanks for its attention.Israel Abril Fernandez

The FUEL TANK/ENG alarm is due to crossfeed valves 1 & 4 in wrong position for the fuel situation (see 6-46 AOM). The outboard valve switches (1&4) don't have covers and should operate... are you trying these? The inboard fuel valve switches (2&3) have covers that flip open with a right mouse click to access the switches.

The inboard fuel valve switches (2&3) have covers that flip open with a right mouse click to access the switches.
....but should not be touched under normal circumstances. Just make sure the flow bar is visible (under the clear plastic covers). If the 1&4 crossfeed valve switches are not responding to mouseclicks, then you have a problem.Cheers.Q> イアン
