May 1, 200818 yr OK first I'm running FSX and Vista 64 not XP or FS9.There is a breif mention of the ACARS system in the manuals Clicking on it in the FMC brings up a few pages. The only reference in the manual says some of this was put in for future use. What is the current state of this feature? How is it supposed to function in the future? Snowfalcon13 KRTS Reno, NV. May 1, 200818 yr Commercial Member Please sign you posts with your real name - forum rule. The ACARS system is not functional, we may at some point in the future release an addon to the plane that will provide ACARS functionality but there's no plans to do so currently. We're focused on finishing the MD-11 and then the NG 2.0. The framework is there if we decided to do it later though, is how you should think of it. May 1, 200818 yr Hi There,You may have a look at the following web page: http://www.hoppie.nl/acars/This is the best attempt sofar to reproduce ACARS functionalities for the flight simulation. Some people recommend also FS Flightkeeper which among other things offers an ACARS system.Best regards Best Regards, Michael A. R. Clavier
