FSBuild and PMDG 747-400X compatibility

Featured Replies

Just wondered if anyone can tell me whether the latest version (v2.3?) of FSBuild is compatiable with the PMDG 747-400X (FSX version). I think i read somewhere that it is compatiable with the FS9 version, but I just wanted to check before buying. Thanks,Ed

It should be. The only compatibility issue would be the .fmc or .pln (can't remember which) that FSBuild writes to your PMDG folder. These files are uniform throughout the PMDG line, so it shouldn't be an issue.

I can't be in all places at once. If you see someone is having an issue with an Angle of Attack product, or something that should be brought to my attention, please message me. I want everyone to have a stellar experience with AOA. Thanks so much!

Works fine for me. Been using it for a long time with FS9 and FSX. Ken

The files used within the FMC for the PMDG aircraft (.rt2) are all same I believe. FSBuild just creates a .rt2 file for the flight plan you have created and stores it in the PMDG folder within either the FS9 or FSX directory, depending on which one you have selected. Subsequently you should just be able to copy them from one to the other without any difficulties. I often create plans (COROUTE) within FSBuild and then simply duplicate them for the FSX version so I can use it in either simulation.Hope that helpsCraig

Works great with FSX and PMDG 747X. I also use Vista as my O/S.

Thanks guys, great to know that it works with both PMDG and Vista. I'll grab a copy as soon as I get my PC up and running again...
