I think you should install the latest update (0040), which was released shortly after 2.10 to fix a speed tape problem in some vista installations. I believe it is a full install, not just a patch so you shouldn't need to do 2.10 before 2.10.0040. In fact, I didn't experience the speed tape problem so I only have 2.10 and I'm downloading the 0040 update just to verify that it is a full install. You can assume that this is correct unless I come back in a few minutes to advise otherwise.
