July 18, 200817 yr Hi allIm having probs that when I have autopilot on everything is ok but as soon as i move my yoke it disconnects. I have followed what pmdg have said and also tried other joysticks with the same problem. is there anything i can do to stop this from happening. Im using FSX sp1 win XP. I HAVE PMDG 747 THE LATEST VERSION. Appreciate any help.Thank you
July 18, 200817 yr That the way it works, really. The pilot should always have the ability to override the computer. The autopilot will revert to CWS mode.If your problem is an accidental bump, then try the FSUIPC registered version that allows you to ignore spikes and custom the null zone and response curve. July 19, 200817 yr If you go to the Options menu and, under the AFDS Options Menu, check "Elevators / Ailerons / Rudders", you'll be able to use override steering.Any control input will override the AP momentarily. As soon as the yoke is released to neutral, the AP takes over again. Mark Adeane - NZWN
