Fuel Jettison

Could someone confirm the Jettison still works after the update? I'm flying online OMDB - ZSPD and need to divert to VECC.I've done it many times before1. bring up fuel synoptic2. select Jettison A or B3.select both nozzles then turn fuel to remain knob I should then see green flow lines in the lower synoptic and jettison time?Rob

Hi, yes it is working. The fuel Lines turn to Magenta when jettison is processing. Jan-Paul

Thanks guys, after I landed I reloaded the sim, now enroute VECC - ZSPD just gave the jettison another quick test and it's still not working?? I must be missing something..CheersRob

Hi Rob,don't forget about the override/jettison pumps. I also recall some issues regarding jettison system from the VC. Fuel to remain knob/value or something like that. From 2D cockpit the operation is just fine.happy dumping,delcom

Rob:Correct- will not operate properly in VC- must use 2D overhead for jettison ops...........let us know.Best-Carl F. Well never got it working so I think somethings up with my install. I'm going to try and re apply the update.Bit off topic but... The reason I diverted was due to the aircraft being unable to maintain CRZ I was at the optimum alt but the Aircraft kept slowing to stick shaker speed, real world weather SAT was -22 TAT was 4c I know it's very hot this time of year over Asia but nothing the aircraft cant handle. On the VECC - ZSPD leg the same thing happpened so I just quit the sim. Rob:I think this is an AS6.5/asx and FS weather engine interaction issue. Were you using either weather program? I had a similar experince from Joburg to Cairo, forcing a divert to Kinshasa.I think Pete keeps working on this with FSUIPC but I don't think its completly fixed- yet.Best-Carl F. Hey Carl, yeah I always use Active sky running on my networked PC. I had this issue a long time ago flying over africa so I think it must be the high temps at this time of the year. Rob
