Folks,Anybody else having the issue that the wind direction and speed displayed in the FMS differs from what is displayed in the cockpit while in Map Mode ?My direction offset is up to 30 degrees between the FMS and Map Mode with the FMS displaying the more accurate data.Using wind smoothing in FSUIPC plus ASV 6.5ThanksJoerg

Thanks a lot MichaelYour answer just provided the solution to the riddle why I always see a wind direction variation compared to what AsV is reporting.Plus it is clear now why the variation is bigger on the North Atlantic and over Canada than currently over the Pacific...I can stop trying to tweak FSUIPC and AsV now :-)ThanksJoerg
