Precision Simulator B744

Recommended Posts

I have been a long time user of Precision Simulator B744. The thing I like best about it is the detailed reproduction of the systems and procedures for the B744. The obvious downside is the scenery and it is a DOS based application. My question is how does it compare to the PDMG B744? I have been looking a purchasing the PMDG to run on a Vista 32 and in FSX. What problems if any can I expect? Thanks,Bill Bridges

Bill,I still run PS1.3 on an old laptop, if I come across something interesting in my PMDG 747X I run PS1.3 to see if the same thing happens there too. I have still got my PS1 PMDG manual as well. I am sure you would like the PMDG 747, you'll have to learn how to negotiate narrow taxi ways.I run Win XP so I can't say whether you are likely to have problems with Vista.Bye,Peter.

Bill,Several people involved with PS1.3 were involved in the development and testing of our 744. I believe the consensus was that it equals PS1.3 and is actually better in some ways. I don't think you'll be disappointed, basically.
