October 2, 200223 yr helloI remember downloading a couple of zip files with tons of procedures.like 15 000 SID and 7 000 STAR plus a couple thousand approaches.I can not remember where.anyone has a link to this updated database.thanks but I know navdata but the perspective on downloading 3 files per airport is worth the post if i find a quick answer.i still have those files but i believe they are outdatedthank you very muchPedro Leite
October 3, 200223 yr Hi PedroI think this was the site:www.seaartcc.org/767pic/I think I got my files from there. It doesn't seem to have the zip-files any more though. :-(Anyone else know where to get updated files as one single file?RegardsMats Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
October 3, 200223 yr Did you mean zips of the charts? or zips of the STAR/SIDS in PIC format.I wish I could find just one big zip with all the stars/sids in PIC format. Sounds like a good project for someone. :)Bryan
October 3, 200223 yr http://www.geocities.com/alfavictormx/archivos.htmlIt's in spanish...I knew I should have listened in that class.... She told me it would come in handy someday. :)Bryan
October 3, 200223 yr Hi Bryan and others, the "project" is still running and now finished :-) After the weekend, you can find a AIO (=all in one-file) from SIDs/STARs and APPs as an zip on the NAVData-Homepage. From now on, every month (with starting a new cycle) a program zipped all new one
October 3, 200223 yr hello all of youthanks for trying to help me with this one.specialluy for all the people who share their effort with everybody else. And yes, you are included Stefan. Many many thanks.Pedro Leite
October 3, 200223 yr Hi Richard and others! This is so very good news! :-)I guess some of you have heard of, or is using SS_Copy. (For you who don't know it, it's in the file library, search for SS_Copy.zip.) I am currently underway to enhance this thingie to read zip-files instead of a repository folder amongst other things and some minor bug corrections. I was also thinking of adding an update function that will download a recent zipfile if one is available. Richard, is this possible? Do you have some kind of ftp-server I could use? I'll e-mail you about this. And for those of you who uses SS_Copy. Now you have your chance to tell me what you would like to add or what to enhance :-)Any suggestions would be appreciated on mailto:[email protected] Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
October 4, 200223 yr Using it, loving it! The enhancement regarding being able to have the SID/STAR in zip-format would be great! /Tord Hoppe, Sweden
October 13, 200223 yr Hi Stefan,Did you manage to get this going? I did find the AIO zip file, but not a SID/STAR database. It would really be great not to have to download individual SID/STARs per airport, but to be able to do it in one go.I have also a more fundamental question here: why are for 767PIC (and as far as I have seen for 767PIC only - not for the DreamFleet 737 and not for FSNavigator) SID/STARs treated in a different way than for instance airway data. These are fixed, internationally agreed data. For routes I can imagine that they are treated differently, because there is no right or wrong. For SID/STARs like for airways there is only one right answer.Regards,Jan van Bekkum
