December 17, 200223 yr Very good to hear from you Eric. All of us 767 PIC addicts will remain indebted to you (and the rest of your team) forever.
December 17, 200223 yr Seems that there will be a future for MS-FS2004. I stuck with FS2000 until the FS2k2 PIC patch came out. Now I will stick with FS2002 until the team formerly known as PIC comes out with their offering for 2004...whatever it may be. I have been spoiled by PIC767, nothing else will do. Good to see Eric and family are well and all is good. PIC767 still RULES the virtual skies!Rob.
December 24, 200223 yr Eric, . . . greetings! We had communicated at various times back in the MSFS 98 days. Currently using a different online name. Have been wondering what your life is like since 9/11/01. The last word I had was that you were flying first officer on 767's. Have you been able to dodge the cutbacks? What are you currently flying and have you had a chance to move up to Captain? Have you gained enough seniority to be safe except under the most severe circumstances? My son-in-law's sister is a former USAF pilot (heavy iron & T-37 trainer) currently flying for Southwest. Her husband, also a former USAF pilot, is flying for Continental. They thought it was wise to not be employed with the same carrier.Best of luck to you and your family! I do appreciate your excellent contributions to flight simming.Sincerely,Captain

December 25, 200223 yr Eric,Glad to see you're still here and flying for American. Hope the B767 is still treating you good. You and your team at PIC did a wonderful job with PIC 767. It's still the best, read - most realistic, model for the MSFS platform is right up there with PS1 and Elite Jet as far as jet sims go. I'm still amazed at how well the the model and cockpit behaves and how well the FMS works. I'm reading "The Pilot's Guide to the Modern Airliner Cockpit" and using that information to play with PIC.My hope, selfish as it is, has been for continued enhancements to the FMS, perhaps one day reaching the level of PS1. To me, that would move PIC from a "game" or "sim" to a "part task trainer". There's a world of possibilities for that as I sure you're aware of. Anyway, it's Christmas, the time for wishes, and this one is mine!Speaking of that, Merry Christmas to you, the PIC team, your families and everyone on the AVSIM PIC Forum. May 2003 bring fare skies, smooth rides, tailwinds, and nice lay-overs!Rich BollWichita, KS.
