December 28, 200223 yr Can 767 PIC for FS 2000 be installed in FS 2002 and patched to run properly? I tried to install it yesterday, using what I thought were the proper patches, but no joy. Thanks
December 28, 200223 yr The short answer is yes.Get the patch and installation instructions for FS2002 from this website: http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/efpanels/Note that you only need ONE patch, do not run patch 1.1 which was an upgrade for the FS2000 version

This program merges the PIC767 panel, sounds, and FDE with the POSKY 767v3 GMAX model. (Make sure you load the PIC767 in FS2002 at least once before doing this.)If you have any further questions/troubles, come back to this post and let us know. December 29, 200223 yr Author Whoops...I installed per the instructions but I'm having the same problem I had previously. After I select the 767 PIC in the aircraft selection menu I get a series of messages..."Scenery library object not found..." with apparently a memory address. When I click OK, the same message repeats, with a different address... The cycle continues, and FS 2002 is locked up. I need to control/alt/delete to get out of the program.I have no problems with other aircraft or FS 2002...except for a minor glitch with my Flightstick Pro, which I don't think is related to PIC.Any suggestions?
December 29, 200223 yr Hi Kevin, how much RAM do you use. It might be a memory problem. Once I just had 256MB ram inside for a few days and it seems to me that I had almost the same problem. I hope I am right, but it could also be anything different.Matthias
December 29, 200223 yr Author RAM's not the problem...I'm running 528 megs.I continued to try to sort out my PIC install...and got to the point that I had a panel and sound...but no aircraft! I checked my FS 2002aircraft directory. It looked like PIC installed without any textures! I deleted and reinstalled PIC but had the same problem.I then downloaded a POSKY 767 and managed to merge the POSKY aircraft with the PIC panel and sounds. But now I'm getting "scenery object not found" errors when loading scenery.I think it's probably time for me to do a clean install of FS 2002. I recently went from WIN98SE to XP and instead of a complete install of FS 2002 I did only a basic install and copied all my aircraft, scenery, etc from a backup drive. Since then I've had a series of minor problems which makes me think it's time to start anew...
