January 25, 200323 yr Here is a snapshot of ServInfo as I pulled up to the gate in Auckland. The screenshot was taken over MADEP, right after the handoff to Auckland OCEANIC. I have Rob Hall (ACA856), Mike Murphy (ACA332), Greg Baker (AAL1220), and Taufiq Shamsuddin (MAS133) all within range in the rear view. OCEANIC is COOL. I love reading off the position reports to FSS which are a real breeze using the POSITION page of 767PIC.210 miles to MAGDA now. Should be departing Sydney for the long haul right on time at 0500Z.
January 25, 200323 yr Looks like I am the second one of out YSSY after CVA3339 for SFO.Here are two shots on departure. 1) First observer took this one of the intl apron (ignore that bright light :))2) Some poor C150 pilot snapped this one. . . poor chap. He was right in my way during the RIC2 departure.
