Hi all,:-zhelpSome help please, for some reason when I use the PIC 767 and start push back the left autopilot command malfaunctions and I lose the "L" IRS position. I get an FMC message "set IRS position".Opening the overhead panel and using the "button" I can align the "L" IRS again, but as soon as I start push back again it happens again.Until this happened last night I have been using the 767 with no problems. I have checked all PIC repairs/faults found nothing.Thanks,Steve

Well here's what I would do Steve, when all else fails, RE-INSTALL. I have not heard of that problem before so re-installing PIC couldn't hurt. Have you changed the key command for pushback or for any of the PIC functions? Check the key commands for PIC and see if there is something (probably related to IRU L) that is using the same key command. I believe Shift-P is the default command for pushback. If you don't find anything conflicting, then I don't know what is happening.

Hey Steve,I'm just throwing out guesses here, because I've never had that problem.One thing I can think of is if you are using a keyboard function to pushback, that key may also be assigned to turning something off on the panel that would cause the malfunction.Regards,Steve Dra
