Sound question

Featured Replies

I recently re-loaded FS2002 after my first ever total breakdown with XP. After reinstalling PIC, I went to Tampa (get the Fly Tampa scenery - it is really out of this world) and fired up the GEs. My cockpit sounds were very rough and ragged. Now its been a few months since I've flown the ER (I've been doing short hauls in the IK DC-9, honing my triangulation skills with the 2 VOR radios and one NDB) and I honestly don't remember if this is normal, or if one of the wavs has become corrupted. Shouldn't the ambient noise be smoother? Or am I just imagining things. Thanks.Colin

Colin,No disrepect to you sir. I don't have answer for your query, though it would seem to me that the some sound settings may have been altered when you added the Tampa Scenery.Try deselecting that scenery?http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpgDS CVA3339 & UKD149

I'd echo Mr. Shuttleworth's suggestion and offer some of my own. Perhaps something has gone terribly wrong with your DirectX and/or sound card drivers... perhaps an update search for these software items is in order?Best of luck!
