This forum needs some excitement, it has reached new lows of dullness!!!Where the hell is DS when you need him? Has Working Stiff fallen asleep? What ever happened to the lively banter one could expect from this forum?Oh well, back to sleep.Rob.

Yeah i guess a couple of good news from the WELP guys about the new PIC version which I

New job = new e-mail account = new avsim account.Working hard? More like hardly working :-)Missing you 'up there' Lee.Hope to see you flying soon.Tally ho!Rob.

Dearest Robert Hall and PIC Forum participants (you know who you are),Just recieved an email from Chuck Dickey alerting me of THIS post. It read: "Thought to myself, could there be TWO DSs that are PIC 767 drivers??? Chuck Dickey Plant E Maintenance CVA 3906"Well, I thought about that for about 1 second, and then I deleted the email (like I do with so many crap emails that I'm swamped with from well-meaning guys like Chuck) (no offence Chuck, I'm sure you're a nice enough guy, and you mean well, but honestly, get a life...) But then I thought a little longer and deeper about what Chuck was saying. "...could there be TWO DSs that are PIC 767 drivers???" Could there indeed be two DS's that are 767 drivers? What a fascinating prospect that would be. I mean, I'm a one-of-a-kind kind of guy - we all know that - just ask Ian Elchitz (that little Winnipegger), or Mike Murphy (that little Sydneyer) - but... "...could there be TWO DSs that are PIC 767 drivers???"So, I ask you - thanks to Chuck for this inspiring idea: Are there any other DS's that are 767 drivers? If so, let's hear from you.Let's do our level best to get this boring old forum talking about something truly inspiring: ME (or other people who may profess to be me).THE INITIAL'S DS ARE A COPYRIGHTED TRADEMARK OF DS, AND DSHUTT. NOTE: To Chuck: I'm kidding about your email being crap and about the fact that you are a well-meaning guy. I know that you are neither. I was just trying to make a joke, and get a laugh from the mooks that dwell here at the PIC forum. I mean, you know the type: Rob H pretty much exemplifies the "low-life" that endlessly haunt this place, looking for cheap thrills. I mean, if Rob wants to liven up the joint, why doesn't Rob H just post something? Why doesn't he? Well, because he's a dimwit, that's why. Of course, that said, he knows that when he throws the gauntlet down saying the forum is boring etc etc, that I'm likely to bite and try to liven the place up. And, okay, I have bitten. But, I'm not too sure that anything about this post is in anyway funny, entertaining or evening enlivening. Hey, did you hear the one about the moron, and the elephant? There was this moron who had an elephant, and this guy comes up to him and says: "Can I borrow your elephant?" And the moron says: "What elephant?" Yeah, my eight year old thinks that's hysterical. I don't get it actually. I mean, why would a guy want to BORROW an elephant? You know, this part of the post is getting a little dodgy. I haven't mentioned the PIC or planes until now. That doesn't bode well. Good thing no one moderates this forum, eh? If someone actually did MODERATE this place most of Rob's rambling posts about invisible click spots and ZFW and GTOW and blah blah blah would be deleted faster than a ... a ... oh crap, well, faster than anything. Anyhoo, I'm about spent - if that last sentence is any indication - thanks for the heads up on Rob Hall's post Chuck. Mr. Dean,A fly-in? I thought you would be too busy kicking up a fuss over at PSS's forum...so nice to have guinea pigs out there to beta test the new payware. When the dust settles after the fourth patch for the Vulcan, I will take a look.Hope to see you up this weekend.Oh, and Mr. Shuttleworth says I am a "dimwit", and a "low life"...I take no offence after I consider the source of such comments :-)I love this hobby, most of all the people.RH

Yeah, or you could just have one account and log into from multiple computers like the rest of us low-lifes! :-)Rob just wants to be different, that's all. :-lol

"I thought you would be too busy kicking up a fuss over at PSS's forum...so nice to have guinea pigs out there to beta test the new payware. When the dust settles after the fourth patch for the Vulcan, I will take a look."Hahaha & ouch ;) To be honest Rob I think the fuel issue is the only thing that needs looking at. The flight model, from what I know about delta winged aircraft, is very good. The artwork is typical high PSS standard. VC is one of the sharpest I've seen. The autopilot is quirky but that can be expected from something that was designed over 40 years ago. It does work if you use it correctly. The other issues are pilot deficiencies. It will climb to FL500 + M0.94 as I proved with a SShot over at the other place. As a kid I lived near to a RAF station where these beasts flew over our school. They really are a sight to behold in real life. And the noise; on par with Concorde.I'd recommend it. Even to my 'friends' :-lolOh and DS. We have an emergency board meeting over at our VA next month to decide whether to revoke all Canadian membership or just UKD149. Concerns regarding sanity have been raised ...;)

>Concerns regarding sanity have been raised ... Yes, good point Dean. I think sanitary conditions are VERY important, esp. in the flight deck, and esp. since SARS.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE for the love of everything we hold sacred - wash your hands diligently for at least 1 minute.I don't think I can make it to the meeting Dean - I have to wash my hands.DS CVA3339 & UKD149http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

Here in Winterpeg we are emerging from our annual Ice Age and as a result some of us are trying to take advantage by getting outside and breathing the fresh air.I've cooped up inside here since December when the mercury dipped to -30C and stayed around there until this past week when we finally got rid of the snow with a wonderful day +25C.I've also been pretty busy with life on the weekends lately - and I am looking forward to hopping back into my '67 and terrorizing the VATSIM skies with many of you.I have also been too tired to plug in and push some tin - I'm hoping to do so this evening and perhaps this weekend. There are some good west coast events coming up on Vatsim in the next few weeks - an Oceanic trip from LAX/SFO to HNL on APRIL 27 with FULL OCEANIC CONTROL (probably some provided by yours truly as I won't have to do Honolulu Center and Sierra Approach like last time). You might want to brush up on your Oceanic Procedures - the non radar enviroment is a blast for both ATC and PILOTS - but you have to know what you are doing - Try out our site at http://kzak.eleventhstreet.com for LOADS of info and also feel free to ask questions here.Book off MAY 18 NOW. California Screamin' returns to VATSIM with the 8'th installment of an afternoon of REAL TRAFFIC. This won't be like many of the flying you have experienced so you won't have to worry about being 267'th for the approach into LAX and hold for 3 hours. For those of you who have never taken part in in this event - it's one that you do not want to miss. Sign ups will begin at the end of the month. Keep yourself up to date by checking events at either http://www.oakartcc.org or http://www.laartcc.orgHow's that for excitement?

You could say that I've fallen asleep since I've been lurking more than posting but I'm still around.
