April 30, 200323 yr I have a strange problem looking for a solution. At cruise with the PIC/Poskyv3 under the FMC and in some other flight conditions, when I use FsNav to find navigation information, runways, STARS, etc. and then click (left mouse) anywhere on the PIC window, the RPM drops from 88%N1 to about 76%, the speed from Mach 0.8 to 0.76 in about 5 sec and immediately increase again to their original values in about one minute. There is a corresponding change in sound, decrease and increase again with the speed change as expected. There is also a corresponding change in scenery, a cloud layer draws down from the aircraft, the sky turns blue and eventually it returns to normal. This latter scenery change also occurs when using the chat window. But I can fly this aircraft without using FsNav but I have to use the chat window. This change in flight conditions does not seem to affect the aircraft permanently and I can complete any flight successfully. It is an annoyance that I would like to remove. I tried changing settings in FsNav, Fsuipc and elsewhere without success. I also checked the keys. Has anyone come across this kind of interferences on a similar installation?Maurice
April 30, 200323 yr Commercial Member I have similar issues as well Maurice. How did I fix it?I don't zoom in or out in FSNav when in cruise.Patient: Doc, it hurts when I do this.Doc: Don't do that.DS CVA3339 / UKD149http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
April 30, 200323 yr I have had similar problems and suspect, but don't know for sure, that it happens when the focus is not on FS. So any time you bring up another program such as FSnav or the chat window it has focus and FS does not.
May 8, 200323 yr Thankyou for the suggestion. This stabilized engine speed but it did not solve the problem of the cloud layer or horizon dropping. It may be a problem with Fsuipc.Maurice
