767 PIC and FS2004

Featured Replies

I know there have been posts on the topic before. But I note that in some of the screenies of FS2004 there are 3rd party acft being used, FFX for example. I was wondering if anybody with a beta copy has tried running 767 PIC? If it doesnt cross the NDA that is!

Here in The Netherlands I saw today a demo of FS2004. Fot those in the know, it was at the Luchtvaarthobbyshop. I asked them about PIC 767 compatibility and the answer was: no, some essential gauges weren't working, so an update is probably needed (unless they were doing something wrong).Perhaps other people have other experiences? Well MS said that all aircraft would work, if they used the SDK which PIC did not. :-(

I'm assuming if the PIC team used the existing MS 'SDK', we would not have had the incredible functionality of the current PIC767 in FS2002 in the beginning....Regards,

Damn here goes FS2004:-(.

Remember, PIC was made for FS2000 and "patched" for FS2002. I will bet money that it will most assuredly need a patch for it to work correctly in FS2004.
