June 22, 200322 yr Slightly off topic but why is it that 767PIC doesn't showas many SID/STARS as say PSS when Dbases are downloaded fromsame sources?ThanksJB Joaquin Blanco Intel Core i9-9900K at 5Ghz, Corsair Hydro H100i RGB PLATINUM CPU cooler, Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E,Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIe,2TB Samsung 860 QVO Solid State Drive, 2TB, 2 x Samsung 860 Evo 2TB, 1 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold 650W PSU.
June 23, 200322 yr 767 PIC doesn't come with its own SID/STAR database, that's all.You can download a lot of SIDs, STARs and approaches from for example http://www.navdata.at though. There is also an all-in-one file there with all the uploaded procedures.I have found that one disadvantage with PIC's way of handling SID/STAR/APP procedures compared to, say, PSS, is that if you have many procedures it takes up a huge amount of disk space, due to the big cluster size on large disk partitions (at least in Windows ME, don't know if this is different in XP). The actual size of my PIC procedures is 31 MB, but it takes up around 430 MB of disk space!Just having three 10 MB files or something like that would be much better I think.Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
June 23, 200322 yr >767 PIC doesn't come with its own SID/STAR database, that's>all.Oops, yes it does. It should have been installed when 767 PIC was installed.Terry
June 23, 200322 yr Yeah, it comes with its own, but the SIDs/STARs that come with the package are so few in number that they can hardly be construed as a 'database'Ryan
June 29, 200322 yr Author Many thanks for all the replies and apologies for delay,I tend to agree with last post, 767PIC has an almostnon existent SID/STAR Dbase.JB Joaquin Blanco Intel Core i9-9900K at 5Ghz, Corsair Hydro H100i RGB PLATINUM CPU cooler, Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E,Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIe,2TB Samsung 860 QVO Solid State Drive, 2TB, 2 x Samsung 860 Evo 2TB, 1 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold 650W PSU.
